Mrs Melanie is amazing with our 4 year old son. Who would have thought a child his age could learn to play the piano. He looks forward to spending his time with her every week. She is amazing!

There is a fine line in the sand when teaching a child, between a Strong curriculum of learning, yet keeping it fun and enticing enough that your child looks forward to coming back. That magic combination is what, I personally think, describes a great educator. My wife and I just think the world of Melanie, our daughters growth on the piano is unbelievable, she looks forward every week to her lessons.
Her confidence has gone through the roof, our seven-year-old can’t wait to get in front of people and play. We cannot recommend Melanie enough! Your child will be in great hands!

music lessons with Melanie: watching my kids race from homework to the piano to play their songs, over and over…and find utter joy in it. Our house is filled with happy music all the time! Thanks for being our piano teacher!

Melanie has been teaching my now 9 year old son piano since early 2020 and his progress has been amazing! She knows kids so well and creates the interest he now has each and every week. We have been doing classes digitally since the pandemic started and Melanie could even teach by ear which was very impressive. We continue to have digital classes now and the progress is still amazing. I highly recommend Melanie!

Melanie is teaching all three of my children piano, and has been for 5+ years. Melanie has tailored her lessons to match each of my kids - their styles, preferences, and goals. Playful games and gentle learning for my youngest;  composition and contemporary songs for my middle; challenging and more dramatic pieces for my oldest.  I have watched as a love of music has been nurtured, as skills are honed and confidence grows.

 

When we moved out of state from Melanie, we continued lessons virtually with her. And it’s worked beautifully!  Convenient for us, and effective for learning.  Melanie’s teaching talent translates seamlessly through screens!
